After the death of her beloved grandfather Jenna is left of the job clearing out his old cabin and selling off the land she was raised on. His home planet is in need of females as war has nearly completely decimated the female population. He believes that Jenna is lifemate brought to him by the All Mother.
Ok this was a quick read that I had a hard time putting down. Though to be honest I nearly chucked it across the room (figuratively as it was an ebook). Spoiler alert: the two have sex the very first day they meet. Ugh ugh ugh! So not what I look for in my romance novels. But I'm glad I stuck with it because this wasn't an all sex fest book. There were a few scenes but nothing that had me rolling my eyes or getting bored.
I loved their story and I LOVED that he was a virgin. Seriously, why are there not more virgin heros out there? I hate all the man whores you encounter in romance so it was so refreshing to meet someone inexperienced.
I loved their early interactions together while they were trying to communicate. I loved that he was smart and was quickly picking up on English.
All in all it was a great read and I plan on checking out more books in this series (though I heard the female main character in the next book is horrible). Because of the couple having sex so early in the book I have to drop a star off of my rating.
I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
